Hey!  I'm Molly. Here’s the elevator pitch:

I’m a TV writer with a background in journalism who specializes in gritty crime dramas with kickass female leads. I’ve developed projects with Dennis Lehane, Marta Kauffman, Michael Showalter, Michael Eisner, and Richard Plepler. My staffing experience includes TV shows for Spectrum TV, Apple TV, ABC and Showtime. Most recently, I served as a Producer on Apple TV’s upcoming SMOKE under showrunner Dennis Lehane where I covered set for the entire first season of production.

Previously, I worked as a journalist and producer for Crime Story Media, covering major homicide trials, domestic violence, and SWAT investigations. I was subsequently the head writer of the podcast JURY DUTY: THE TRIAL OF ROBERT DURST and JURY DUTY: THE TRIAL OF HARVEY WEINSTEIN. Additionally I was the creator/host of the Ambie Award Nominated true-crime podcast NIGHT RAID, which aired on NPR. I received my MFA in Screenwriting from USC where I received an Annenberg Fellowship, the Edward Small Screenwriting Award, and a fellowship with John Wells. I went to undergrad at The University of Chicago where I earned no special awards because I was too busy doing bad comedy and bizarre performance art.

If you want to read my work please reach out to Dana Jackson at Echo Lake or Howie Tannenbaum and Katie Laner at WME. If you’re interested my reporting please check out NIGHT RAID, a radio series/podcast available on Acast and airing on the LAist 89.3 FM.
